The clay court coating is a safe bet. It is an exclusivity from Maton Sports, expert in tennis court for more than 30 years in Belgium. It is the “Rollan Garros” surface homologated by the Tennis Federation.

The complex mix of clay develops tennis characteristics such as : flexibility, sliding and ball bounce. The supports are less abrupt than on other court surfaces. All players can develop their sliding techniques and then improve their defensive skills. Your joints will not be put to the test.

The clay is also very interesting for the referee’s quality decision. In fact, the balls leaves an imprint at their point of impact, even more when the game is fast.

Thanks to the unique construction process provided by Maton Sports the watering is limited and this prevents the surface from becoming as hard as a stone. Maintenance and advice from Maton Sports

• Water your tennis court daily with a hose, depending on the weather ; brush well and roll it up.
• Observe the direction of passage of the drag net. We suggest you to choose a wooden one because it is heavier and more adapted after the game.

Get your court ready for winter :

• Remove leaf and branch deposits on the court and around the edges
• Remove the net and place blocks on each end of the line so that they do not straighten in the spring.
• Purge your watering system (if you have one)
• Remove and store the windscreens

Spring Maintenance :

• A traditional clay court needs a refurbishment after each winter. This maintenance consists of :
• Cleaning the playing area
• A deep scraping of the whole surface
• An addition in clay of quality
• An upgrade & successive rolls
