This surface is protected by an international patent that certified its quality. This is a revolutionary playground made with a synthetic fiber carpet over a layer of sand and finalized by a layer of crushed rock. The design of this complex structure makes this surface permeable : the playground dries quickly and offers continuous play.

The MASTERCLAY playground guarantees all the sensations and charms of the clay court : flexibility, comfort, sliding, quality of ball bounce and effects. Your muscles will be respected, your movements will be fluid and playing tennis will be a pleasure.

Technical features

Surface material:

• It’s equivalent to clay court and it is composed of 3 layers laid on a draining structure.
• This complex “crushed rock-sand-carpet” offers flexibility, sliding and great ball bounce to the tennis court.
• There are no problems with compacting your land if it is well maintained.

Construction:

• It can be done on your old tennis court.
• Continuous fabric
• (1) Rot-proof synthetic fiber mats, often red in color, saturated on the surface with 2 to 4 mm of crushed rock
• (2) substrate : porous concrete slab, asphalt concrete mats or resorbent.
• (3) crushed stone foundation with draining structure, solid and compact.

Maintenance and advice from Maton Sports

Maton Sports offers you its services for the maintenance of your courts.

• Observe the direction of passage of the drag net. Use the special MASTERCLAY drag net after each use of the court for a better homogeneity of the crushed rock.
• Clean the lines with a special flap brush to prevent the lines from coming loose.
• Water regularly to keep the soil moist. (automatic watering)

Spring maintenance

• Cleaning and treating with an anti-moss is important to guarantee the characteristics of the soil and permeability.
• Refill with crushed rock if it is necessary.
• Leveling the surface
• Perform successive rolls
